In May 2014, “Mondo Banana” will screen as an official selection of the San Francisco Green Film Festival – where it will show at San Francisco’s historic Roxie Theater.  Following the May 30 screening, students from the UC Berkeley Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC) will host a “Let’s Go Bananas!” themed open mic and celebration. Also in May, “Mondo Banana” is an official selection of the 12th Festival Internacional de Cine Pobre (International Low-Budget Film Festival). The Cine Pobre Film Festival “builds bridges based on the belief that film becomes art when its materials are as inexpensive as pencil and paper.”
